“CORINTH, Miss (WTVA) – Thousands of people in rural communities now have high-speed internet in Alcorn County.
Leaders and employees at ACE Fiber celebrated Thursday after signing up their 5,000th customer.
Resident Zack Marcinek is one of ACE Fiber’s first customers. Marcinek said the internet provider changed his family’s life for the better.
“It’s opened so many opportunities here for people in Alcorn County that we just didn’t have before Ace Fiber,” he said. “So now that we have a consistent internet, I mean it just opens up a world of possibilities.”
CEO, Eddie Howard said he is looking forward to bringing the internet to many more people. Leaders said in the next four months, every Alcorn County Electric customer will be able to receive internet service.”
